It is understandable that after an auto accident it can be incredibly stressful, however, it is important to keep your cool and to think straight.  Here are a few tips to check off after an accident.

1)Check for Injuries:  Determine if you are anyone else in the car is hurt, if you have any doubts call 911

2)Get Safe: If possible, make sure to move the care to a safe location away fr om the main roadway and out of the middle of the street.

3) Call for Help:  Notify the policy fo the accident if they don’t show up on their own.

4) Take Notes: Be sure to get the name, contact and insruance info of the other person or or persons involved in the accident.

5) With most people having smart phone take a few photos of the vehicles that where involde in the accident.

6) Start your Claim: As soon as possible, notify your insurance company to what has happen and file the claim.
